Site Supervisor, Edmonton
Experience
As an experienced Onsite Construction Supervisor, you will manage and be responsible for all field aspects of the projects' budget, schedule and general performance.
Minimum of five years experience in a Construction Management role, technology diploma or a Journeyman Trades Certificate with extensive construction and site management experience.
Duties
Assisting the Project Manager with the initial mobilization and set up of the construction site, coordinating daily activities of project staff & construction trades, help resolve - design issues, change requests, equipment problems, monitor job progress & costs, manage project administration including - timekeeping, labour, equipment, purchase order and safety coding, maintain effective labour relations ensuing compliance with company policy and compiling with company safety training and reporting.
Skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and field drawings
Solid understanding of all construction trades and techniques
Excellent communication skills
Strong planning, leadership & team building skills
Ability to make decisions under pressure
Good labor relations and contract administration skills
Familiar with WCB and Safety legislation
Must have basic computer skills (word, spreadsheets, email etc)
