Primary Role:

Leadership and management of accounting department and employees, ensuring accuracy of accounting functions and external financial reporting.

Secondary Role:

Comprehensive risk management of asset assessments.

Responsibilities:

Maintain data integrity, administration and support of Timberline accounting software.
Ensuring accuracy of sales database, assuring alignment with accounting department requirements in conjunction with Finance Manager.
Monthly GST filing, sign off and rebate management.
Leadership and management of accounting department.
Liaise with lawyers for corporate organizational chart of the Pointe of View group of companies.
CCRA and other regulatory authorities.
Quarterly financial reporting – 122 company consolidation.
Ensuring completion of tax returns for corporate level, parent companies and individuals
CCRA audits – prepare necessary information, manage and coordinate.
Assess taxable benefits for CEO/President
Coordinate and liaise for year end audit with external auditors
Primary contact for Timberline software. Post batches follow up and correct un-posted entries in Timberline software. Coordinate Zybertech projects, set up new jobs and accounts in system
